Since their new redesign, 83% of App Store reviews have been negative (one or two stars). This has us thinking about social media’s future and predicting what other changes may lie ahead for us all in 2018…

Augmented reality is on the rise, so we can expect companies to take advantage of this unique type of branding and social promotion through the use of Instagram and Facebook Stories as well as Snapchat filters. Face filters and augmented reality will be a big trend in 2018, but we’ll just have to wait and see whether it is Snapchat or Instagram who will do augmented reality better…

Other potential changes that may come this year include the increase of Facebook Messenger and its connection with online stores. We started seeing this feature roll out last year with certain online stores and Paypal, but I think that this year we can be prepared to see a major roll out of Facebook Messenger notifications for online store purchases and postage tracking.

Finally, we think that Chatbots will also rise significantly this year. For those of you not sure what Chatbots are, they are a software application built to simulate human conversation. We’ve started seeing these in the form of auto-responses on Facebook Messenger but we can expect to see more and more of our chat conversations being with Chatbots during 2018.

What are your predictions for social media during 2018? Can you believe that 2017 is almost over? Neither can we! To celebrate the nearing end of 2017, we’ve decided to share with you some of this year’s most popular social media changes.

Facebook:

This year, Facebook undertook many different changes. They introduced updates to their algorithm which saw promoted posts help to maximise your business page reach and engagement. We also saw very slight updates occur in your News Feed on the Facebook app, and the roll out of Facebook Camera and Facebook Stories saw users being able to take a more personalised approach to sharing and live streaming content from their phones.

Instagram:

This year, Instagram changed the order of posts in your feed which left some people outraged and annoyed that posts no longer showed up in order of the time that they were originally posted. Now you see Instagram posts in order of your most frequently visited. Is this a good or a bad thing? You tell me! I think we’re all pretty used to it now. Instagram also made changes recently to its Stories, giving users the ability to add older content to their stories, superzoom and view stories from the desktop version of Instagram. Popular Stories features like polling, live video replay, adding user locations, adding website links, and hashtag stickers were also released this year. Finally, who can forget the addition of bookmarking posts and adding multiple images in a post? I know many businesses were happy with the addition to add more than one picture to their Business Posts, which has definitely proved to be one of the more popular features to be introduced in 2017.

Twitter:

Twitter canned its involvement with Periscope and Vine this year, resulting in their very own launch of in-app streaming, which is definitely a popular feature enjoyed by many today. Very early in the year, Twitter got rid of their Moments tab and introduced the Explore tab which combined Moments with their popular Trending feature. In June, they overhauled the aesthetic of their mobile app, making way for an easier to use and better designed experience. 2017 also saw Twitter take a tougher stance on online abuse in an effort to reduce violence and bullying. This meant that anything hateful or violent was automatically flagged for removal, and that Twitter began to act quicker with tweets that were reported.

If we missed an important new feature that appeared in 2017, we would love to hear it! Whilst the date for this update is still to be confirmed, there is currently a projected launch date of early 2018.

Right about now you might be asking yourself “How does this affect me and my website?”… Well, we are here to explain. Google is changing the way websites will appear when searched, which means your website will soon be ranked by the quality of its ability to be mobile-friendly. This will mean that if your website is mobile-friendly it will appear higher in a Google search when compared to a website that is desktop-only. This makes having a quality mobile-friendly website a priority for all website owners, and is more important than ever!

Knowing that Google will be rolling out these changes soon gives you the time to jump aboard preparing that your website is mobile-friendly, we have two top tips that…

- Get Mobile-Friendly Ensure that your website is responsive and can handle the different sized screens that your potential clients and customers are likely to access using their mobile phones, as well as desktop/laptop computers. If you would like to know if your website is mobile-friendly and ready to go, we recommend that you use Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test.

- Website Content

Make it short and to the point. Imagine having to scroll through your website using your phone? Is it easy to read? Is it nice and short? Is your layout clean, minimal and fresh? Being succinct and making sure you get your point quickly will help to make your website more mobile-friendly. It is also important to consider your theme or website background in relation to how fluid and smooth your website is to operate. Is it slow and clunky to use? Or is it smooth and quick? Google offer a free tool which will help you to work out what you need to focus on to improve the speed of your site, this is calledThink with Google. We recommend all of our clients to test their website out using this tool as it helps to explain why you might be losing potential clients/customers due to the amount of time it takes to load your website on their phones and provides you with tips on how you can fix it. Top tip: steer clear of pop-ups like newsletter sign-up boxes as Google will soon be penalising websites that feature these.

Please contact us should you require any further clarification about Google’s upcoming update, or if you need assistance with updating your website to make sure that it is friendly for mobile users to visit!

Until next month,

The Island Creative Crew.

The Importance of Consistent Branding

You might have noticed that we have recently rebranded, and we are in absolute love over our new colour scheme! To go along with our new modern and sleek logo, we have recently redesigned our client proposals, website and are busily working on unveiling our new social media presence! We are interested to hear if you like our new branding? In this month’s blog, we’re hoping to explain why consistent branding is so important for your business.

How you put yourself out there can give you major edge with your competition... One of the major components of branding happens to be your logo, and what your logo looks like strongly impacts your business. Your branding is the first thing that a customer sees, so it is important that it reflects what your business is about, and it also needs to stand out enough to provide instant recognition for your customers and potential customers.

In today’s environment, branding is more important than ever… Think about popular brands like Facebook, Visa, Disney, Coke, Apple, and even McDonalds. What do they all have in common?

- Their branding is instantly recognisable.

- Everything is consistent and cohesive, from their logo to their website and even right down to their signage.

- It sets them apart from their competitors.

According to Australian Business, branding has the ability to impact upon your sales potential and profits. So, it is integral to your business that you stand out from the crowd… Customers and potential customers build trust and put their emotions behinds the products/services offered by your company and a major part of that is from your branding. The old saying “you should never judge a book by its cover” couldn’t be further from the truth when it comes to branding. So what does your brand say about you?

See you next month,

The Island Creative Crew.

Beware of Domain Scammers...

Spam emails have been running rampant at the moment! Last week Facebook have started rolling out different feeds relating to different topics. A few of them include; funny, sport, TV & film. You are able to change default feeds either by clicking the gear icon on computer or selecting the ‘more’ option on mobile. The purpose of the new feed is to get people to see more content, and although it is still in testing phase, it looks like the effects have been fairly widespread. There are still some things that are a little unclear, such as how the feeds are ranked and shown, as like our normal news feed, the time and engagement seem to have no difference. We aren’t sure what this mean for Facebook for business yet, but fingers crossed it helps!
- Kristy, Social Media Content Manager

Some free advice... for Paid Advertising

I have been noticing a lot of sponsored posts on my Newsfeed lately that may not be working the way you want them to...Here are two things I wanted to point out if you are spending money on Facebook Advertising.1. You MUST have social media to compete in the market place in 2016. It does not matter what your goal is; attracting new customers, showcasing a new product, promoting a sale, showing off your new website or store, we will work with you to promote that goal effectively and professionally! If you do not currently have any social media platforms, we can help you with the initial set up and with all of our clients we work super hard to come up with visually impressive branding that represents your business, and appeals to your audience. It’s time to spend a few moments and do just that!

What do you think your current and potential clients think of when they see/hear about your business? They are not worried about the administration side of your business, they see your logo, your website, your add in the yellow pages, they hear your name, they remember the great service they had… and from this they IMMEDIATELY form an opinion on whether or not you are the right business for them. Does your business branding truly represent the amazing service and products that you provide?

If you are new to business, please feel free to use this information to set up a great foundation for your new adventure! If you have been in business a while, perhaps it’s time to look at what you currently have and see if there is any room for improvement. (If not then a massive high five!!)

I’m going to go through some of the stages I went through to find my businesses brand, and how I am continuing this branding with success.

WHO REALLY ARE YOU?

Have you ever sat back and really thought about your business.

Who are your clients? Who do you LOVE working with? What jobs do you do the most of?

The more you can narrow down who you want to target with your business, and the work you want to do, the more it helps to develop your businesses physical image.

I wanted everyone. Everyone needs a website right? The whole world was to be my client! Until the day I sat back and really thought about my business. Who were my clients? Well apart from a couple on the mainland, my clients where located in Tasmania. They started me off, and they kept me going! I LOVED working with them. Getting to see them, physically, in their workplace made me happy! I was designing websites and helping small business owners and community groups use social media to increase their own business. Sitting next to them physical showing them how to do things. That was my “ah ha” moment. The light bulb went off and then I focussed on the next two steps.

YOUR BUSINESS NAME

It’s important. So important. THE MOST IMPORTANT. It’s what people call you!! Say your business name out loud again.

Is it easy to say?Does it make sense?Does it directly relate to what your business is?

These are not steadfast “rules” but they can assist in giving you a business name that people will remember. Unless you have the personality to match, perhaps going too quirky or creative might not work. There is nothing wrong with keeping it simple! If you would prefer to go down the fun route, again, make sure it is easy to say!

Ticking each of these boxes, should be enough to get a name that TRULY suits you and your business.

Case in point; my business name used to be Night Shadow Design. Easy to say, it made sense… but it didn’t relate directly to what my business is. I would go into a long spiel about how I worked at night time “in the shadows” sounding like a total creep and losing interest quickly. My business name now combines the two main elements of my business. The Island i.e. Tasmania and Creative i.e. the design side. It sounds much better when I explain that I am a Tasmanian business focussed on Tasmanians!

THE LOGO

This is where you will truly get your branding. Humans are very visual creatures. They are far more likely to recognise an image than a word, but then they will connect that image with the word. Think about some of the biggest brands in the world. All of them have a VERY recognisable logo!

If you have a current logo, are currently designing a logo, or even just thinking of starting a business:

Is it appealing and easy to look at?Does it make sense?Does it directly relate to what your business is?

Unlike a business name, I believe you can be far more creative with a logo, especially if your business name is part of the logo. Colour, shapes or images in the right places all work together to form a really eye catching logo.

*IMPORTANT*. If you have a logo (and you should) USE IT EVERYWHERE. You will not receive brand recognition if you are not allowing yourself to be recognised!

Is your logo on your business card?On your actual product if possible? On your advertising material? On your website? On your car if you have a business vehicle?

Nike wouldn’t have become Nike if they didn’t put their logo on EVERYTHING.

Ultimately, to make the progression from a small business, to a small brand (remember you don’t have to take over the world, unless of course you want too!!) is ensuring you look the part.

I’m assuming you’ve already got the products and service down pat... I know you’re awesome!

I have some great branding packages available, that includes assistance for brand new businesses, who may not even have a name yet, to established business who need a freshen up.

Finding passion! I was asked to speak at the Rotary 6830 District Conference held at the Burnie Arts and Convention Centre about myself, my business and my role as chairperson on the Devonport Chamber of Commerce Junior

Committee! There was over 100 people in the room, and my stomach was doing cartwheels!! In 2013, I was invited to attend a Leadership Camp, called RYLA, by the Rotary Club of Devonport North after working with them on some websites.

From the 9830 District Website:RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is an intensive training program for young community leaders. Those chosen for their leadership

potential attend an all-expenses-paid seminar, camp, or workshop to discuss leadership skills and to learn those skills through practice. It is an invaluable personal and professional development program.

Each program is designed to provide lifetime leadership skills for young people, adapted to local needs.

Typical issues covered are: - the growth and development of self-esteem - personal development - stress and self-management - personal motivation - communication - time management and goal setting - leadership styles.

RYLA is definitely all those things... but what it really did for me, was give me a chance to sit back and really assess myself, and the things I was passionate about! I've popped the speech below if anyone is interested in having a read about my story! If you are 18-30 years of age and interested in attend RYLA then please let me know and I will put you through to the right people :)

Hi Rotarians, thank you very much for having me at your 2015 conference.

I am here today to talk about the amazing Rotary Project that is RYLA!

Firstly I would like to give you a bit of a background on myself and then I will explain exactly how RYLA has shaped the direction my life has headed in the past two years since I attended.

In 2012 I was working in one of the most prominent advertising businesses in the state, a very fast paced industry, with constant changes that put me in direct contact with a high percentage of the business owners on the North West Coast. As an assistant to a team of 5 I had a lot of responsibilities and showed quickly that I was reliable, efficient and often rather stressed! We had introduced an online element to the business in 2011 and through the different campaigns that we were able to offer to the client I started noticing the high percentage of small business that did not have a website, and even more importantly, a social media presence. Often they did not exist on the internet at all.

Devonport was emptying, with business after business having to close its doors and I was getting really concerned! Within the advertising business we began to notice a real difference between that year and the year before targeted budget and actual sales, businesses were finding it difficult to afford to advertise.

At the same time, my very talented partner, Simon was having success with his musical band Deligma. I insisted that they get a website to sell their recently launched CD, and as with a lot of non-musical tasks in our household that then fell to me to get organised!

Through school I had always loved art, and I believe I have a talent with putting things together to make them look good, but I also have a talent with computers. I purchased my own computer with my own savings when I was 11, have qualifications in information technology, and am rarely seen without my laptop.

I had never thought of connecting the two.

I looked into website design for the band, found a program that I liked, studied, studied, studied and got to work creating their site. I told my colleagues what I was doing, and one of them then mentioned to a client that I may be able to assist with their online needs. A business was born!

My very first website was published online on the 27th of June 2012 for a Devonport clothing business.

At the same time, the pressures of the marketing industry became too much to handle and I decided to move on, gaining employment in an office on a 12 month contract.

I was surprised one day to receive a phone call from Mr Leon Peck, the Chairman of The Devonport Motor Show Committee. Turns out a mutual business acquaintance had recommended me to him as someone who may be able to assist with the website for the Motor Show.

After a minor freak out, I agreed to come along to their next meeting.

I ended up designing the website for the club as well as helping them get started with their Social Media Presence.

The Rotary Club of Devonport North asked me to come along to a meeting, to show them all the website, and give them a bit of information about how they could use social media with their businesses.

Scariest speech of my life… until now!

A family friend, and a Devonport North Rotarian, Mike Doyle, was at Taste the Harvest with me in March 2013 and gave me a brochure for RYLA 2013. “Have a look at this and tell me if you would be interested in attending, the club will sponsor you to go”.

I had a look, ummed and aahed, wondered exactly what would be involved in a “Leadership Camp”, could I spare time out of my busy schedule, (my 12 month contract was up and I was in the process of looking for work again), and I was starting to have consistent business with my websites. I felt all the usual things you feel before you head into the unknown, fear, apprehension. I’m not a shy person, and I have always considered myself a bit of leader at school, in my job and even amongst my friends but these other people were going to be “real leaders”!! Most of the time I felt like I was bluffing my way through life, but not really knowing my purpose. Thank goodness I decided I was worth it.

While writing this speech out, I looked back on the speech I wrote after Ryla had finished to present to my sponsor club, what a crazy whirlwind of emotions I had. Ryla was like nothing I had ever experienced before in my life. For starters we had to get up super early! (I will never forget you Lindsey) But we always started the day in a positive way, with a quick workout then a hearty breakfast. Day after day we heard from the most amazing speakers, who had so much life experience and inspirational information to tell us and to encourage to take that information back into our own lives and use it in the best way we could. People who through their own hard work, had managed to truly find where they fit and what their purpose was.

I had bouts of extreme frustration, elation, sadness… 30 young people, all in a room, often suddenly finding themselves brings out very high levels of emotions. I think I cried every day. I discovered I can be impatient, analytical and I am very empathetic.

I’d like to read you exactly what I wrote in my post Ryla speech in 2013 about one speaker in particular:

“I just want to touch on Jess Jacobson, the daughter of Julie Jacobson, one of the facilitators of the camp. Jess has a passion, a big one, to help the less fortunate in developing countries. She is only 23 or 24 but already she has found her passion, and made a huge impact. She set up a Tasmanian branch of the Oak Tree Foundation which is about Young People working together to end global poverty. It made us think about how many of us had ever taken the time to really think about what we are passionate about? It might be your work, your family, a special hobby or interest, or something on a large scale like poverty. The session we had with Jess was so valuable for me, as it made me think about what I am truly passionate about and that even though it’s not ending poverty or saving the children, the things I do to achieve my passion are just as important as feeding the world. We all had a big cry again that day as well shared the things we are passionate about, and then focused on how we can encourage others to find theirs too.”

I think about Jess ALL THE TIME. I offered up a HUGE part of myself in this session. Something I had been passionate about for quite some time but had never connected the dots. I’m passionate about Tasmania. I LOVE Tasmania and it HURTS me that our beautiful state, and the wonderful people who live here are finding it difficult to run their businesses. I find myself taking the closure of another small business personally. But what on EARTH could I do to help them.

From that one day at RYLA I have evolved my whole business to fully incorporate what I am passionate about. Tasmanian Business. I offer my services, in the field that I have talent in. My Business name is now The Island Creative.

My mission statement is: "To be a Small Tasmanian Business that looks after the Web and Social Media needs of other Small Tasmanian Businesses". Business is booming.

I’ve also now been employed part time by the Government Authority, The Australian Maritime Safety Authority, taking care of two surveyors and ensuring the office runs smoothly. I often I feel it’s the nice and calm yin to the crazy yang of the small business world.

Keeping contacts is important, and I am so glad I stayed in contact with my old employer from my time in advertising. Sylvia Sayers is the President of the Devonport Chamber of Commerce, member of the Devonport Zonta Club and also the General Manager of the Devonport Radio Centre, also known as 7ad and Sea FM. I was in the office one day and we got into quite a lengthy discussion the recession plan for the Devonport Chamber of Commerce. She had concerns about the chamber, once the current group of members retired, many of them all at a similar time, what would happen to a group that has done many good things for the City of Devonport and been a great connection between business and council, local and state politicians for 75 years?

RYLA popped back into my mind again. Wasn’t this my passion, my purpose, suddenly appearing right in front of me on a plate? The opportunity to be part of the future of Devonport, using my skills, knowledge and determination to make a difference and do something positive for the younger generations, for the current and future business owners? With Sylvia’s support, I went about gathering interested friends and a wider group of people as to whom would be interested in being part of something like this. I was hugely surprised with the support and interest I received. 26 people between the ages of 18 and 39 contacted me with questions about forming Junior Committee.

On the 3rd of March at 5:30pm we held the very first meeting of the Devonport Chamber of Commerce Junior Committee, soon to be renamed, with a possible suggestion of the Futures Committee, with 11 people in attendance and another 4 confirmed. I am very proud to say that I was voted to be the very first Chairperson of that committee! I’ve since had contact from multiple other people interested in joining and have actually had to create a list of interested parties as we are trying to keep our numbers at 15. I did not expect to receive such a large response and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed! I certainly do not like having to turn people away, but at the same time it is showing how much hunger we have in the younger generations in our community to make a difference and do something to help themselves and the future gen. We have our second meeting coming up soon and our agenda is packed solid.

Initially we will be working very closely with the executive committee and giving our much needed opinions and ideas on the current items they have on their agenda. But what came out of our first meeting, and that we will be continuing with in our second meeting is what we can do to engage young people within their local community and helping them to take that engagement with them into the workplace. We have so many amazing young people, who often just need a little nudge to help them find that spark within them that sends them on the path to success.

RYLA finds that spark. Without RYLA, I’d still be drifting along, trying to find my place. I’ve not only found it but am now dedicated to helping others find it. Everyone who attends RYLA will have something different from another that really strikes a chord with them. Every past RYLA attendee I have spoken to brings home a passion to be more, and do more. They all find themselves at different times doing something or saying something that instantly takes them back to RY:A. A saying, a feeling, even a smell, takes you back to a week that if you were not at Camp Clayton, could have been quite insignificant, but for me, has been the kick start I desperately needed.

I want to thank you again for having me at your conference and I hope I have encouraged you as clubs, to continue to support RYLA. Have a look within your community and support the young people to attend.

What's your fear?

Have you ever had a fear that impedes the running of your business? Not an inner fear, like the fear of failure, or a fear of what others will think of you, but a physical fear that can literally stop the whole whole running of your business in its tracks, like say... answering the phone? I have tried, up until the beginning of this year, with varied levels of success to run my business completely by email. Very varied levels. Why on earth would I do this? Not an inner fear, like the fear of failure, or a fear of what others will think of you, but a physical fear that can literally stop the whole whole running of your business in its tracks, like say... answering the phone?

I have tried, up until the beginning of this year, with varied levels of success to run my business completely by email. Very varied levels. Why on earth would I do this? I had a very real, very literal fear of answering the phone. I can't explain where this fear comes from, and it certainly wasn't limited to my business either, with my lack of phone answering ability slipping over into my personal life.

I know how ridiculous it may appear, I've spent the last 11 years of my life working in administration roles where a large percentage of my job was to answer the phone, and I never had any difficulty there! Namely because the call was rarely for me, and if I was unsure of information I could transfer to someone who had the knowledge (or was better than me at bluffing!) Answering my own mobile phone, especially when the caller was unknown to me caused me to break into a cold sweat, I'd let it go through to message bank, and often the thought of checking the messages caused fear!

What if someone NEEDED me?!

So what changed? To say it was easy would be a lie, but very slowly, over the last few months, I have started to just answer. Why? Well one massive reason, and I am not ashamed to admit it, is money! I started this business for many reasons, earning an income from it is not something I am ashamed of and is something I am very proud of! To not answer the phone to a potential client was business suicide! I can't continue without new clients, and the income I earn from working with a new client. Something else I changed is setting myself some specific business hours. Monday to Wednesday I work in my office job, which means I am unavailable. Monday to Wednesday Evenings, Thursdays and Fridays I work The Island Creative. I have this clearly laid out on my website, and I inform new clients when I first meet with them and so far, I am working within these hours and so are my clients. I expect to have to make and receive calls on a Thursday and Friday, so I mentally prepare myself. I write a list of who I have to follow up with on these days and check them off when I am done (I love a good list). Email is a VERY valid form of communication, but you cannot let it it completely overtake the old fashioned phone call, which still has a very solid position in the workplace, even in 2015. SO much can be said in a 2 minute phone call which might take multiple backwards and forwards emails to ascertain.

If you also have a fear of the phone, or any fear which is effecting the running of your business then 2015 is the year to conquer!

1. Try and focus on exactly what the fear is and why it's there.

2. Make yourself comfortable when you are next having to face that fear, you are in control and have the ability to turn an uncomfortable situation into something you can work with.

3. Phone a friend (literally if it's a phone issue!) I am certain a friend/relative/colleague will spend time with you to overcome your fear e.g. role-play. Worse come to worse it could end up a good laugh, and we can never have too many of those! Plus a positive memory of something you once saw as a negative can work wonders! I'd love to hear if any of you suffer from a business fear and how you overcame, or are working to ease the difficulty. Good Luck! Me? I was doing it daily. After almost four years since I started my business, it has only really just started hitting its stride. Why? Two reasons. 1. I was doing it daily.

After almost four years since I started my business, it has only really just started hitting its stride. Why? Two reasons.

1. I have made a HUGE effort in this year!

I am really good at assisting other people's businesses with utilising social media but I was neglecting my own! Through a number of facebook campaigns, working my Instagram, creating a Linked In account and ensuring my Google+ page was current I have increased my workload from one or two websites a month to having 6 in to weeks. 6 IN TWO WEEKS!!

What have I been talking about on those social media platforms?!

Me.

I have re-introcued myself to my target market. I've re-branded and am really proud of the focussed direction I have chosen to go. Ive been sharing my work, which I am SO proud of. I started small but I am now aiming big, and to get there I need to have the confidence that I can do it!

People love seeing the little guys (and girls!!) being successful! So as a side note, ensure that you run your social media platforms as you run your business. Show who you truley are. Show them heart, passion, and when you have successes. Make your clients and customers feel as though they are on the journey with you.

2. I have started talking myself up!

If someone asked me three months, two months even up to one month ago about my business, I didn't know what to say. What if they asked me a question relating to the website industry that I didn't know the answer to! People would think I was a fraud, running around calling myself something that I couldnt live up to! Up until this year, I was allowing people to view what I do as a hobby. A hobby that I would spend up to 40 hours week on. A hobby that I worked on every single night, weekends and often in my lunch breaks from my other job. A hobby that I did all the accounting work for, that I put a tax return in for, that supplemented our family income substantially. So when people asked me about my business I brushed it off as a hobby because in my own mind that is all I was allowing it to be.

At the start of this year, I made a promise to myself that this year I would be a business, and so far, three months in, I've kept my promise and have reaped the rewards. Now if someone asks me what I do for work, I proudly boast that I own my own business. If they ask me a question that I don't know the answer to, I get back to them when I have found out the answer, or I dig deeper into the question and answer them with a solution they might not have though of. I work more confidently, I approach new business with confidence and I am so proud of the work I am doing! Instead of brushing of my business as a "hobby" it is the forefront of who I am.

It's amazing what a small change can do in such a small amount of time. If you are ready, as I was, to take your "hobby" to the next level (but lets be honest, work the same amount of hours and put in the same amount of effort haha) then try treating it as a business.

It's empowering!
